Ahmad tells stories of love and life that are thoughtfully crafted with skill, sensitivity and often, sly tongue-in-cheek humor. His music drinks from the deep well of roots music, combining blues, folk, funk and r&b into a rich brew. He plays guitar with rhythmic drive accenting his accompaniment with sinuous lead lines. He sings with honesty, grit and soul. |
